Now what did you think about what I said in this week's episode...
Welcome to this week's Blonde Intelligence. I am your host Ms. Roni and I always seek to give you exquisite cranial repertoire. A rap diss is supposed to end in the booth. So what happens when it turns into cease-and-desist talk and divorce money headlines? I unpack the noise around Papoose, Remy Ma, and Clarissa and explain why “going legal” over hip hop beef shifts the power dynamic, the public perception, and the fallout for everyone attached to the story. I also react to the way online commentary can slide from critique into cheering for someone’s downfall, and why that says more about us than the artists.
I get honest about the gender angle too. When men keep coming at Clarissa, I don’t like it, period. No matter her profession, she’s still a woman with feelings, and the internet’s appetite for dragging people doesn’t make it right. On the music side, I connect the drama to what really decides outcomes behind the scenes: contracts, publishing, songwriting credits, and documented splits. If your name isn’t on the split, what are you actually owed? That question matters for every rapper, producer, and indie artist trying to build a career that lasts.
Then I move from gossip to game plan: financial literacy for artists. I talk about why I believe the smartest flex is ownership, including franchise investing and building income beyond music so you’re not dependent on a relationship, a label, or a viral moment. If you want practical mindset shifts with your hip hop news, press play, share this with a friend, and subscribe so you don’t miss next week.

SPEAKER_02After I got my deal with Universal Music, after the Alicia Keys and Gunner Record, and many other that I've done, and then Alicia Keys was the number one adult RB song of the year.
SPEAKER_01I asked the question.
SPEAKER_02That's a great question.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's a good question.

Welcome And The Week’s Topic
SPEAKER_01Welcome to this week's Blonde Intelligence. I'm your host, Miss Ronnie, and I always seek to give you exquisite cranial repertoire. This week I am going to talk about Papoose Went Legal on Remy for a diss, and she responded with a diss. First thing I thought about was that song Aha by Cardi B. The
Papoose Goes Legal With A Diss
SPEAKER_01snippet that she that she put out. That will definitely work. So Cardi, when you do actually drop that, Remy needs a verse on that. And that was the first thing that I thought about was that that particular song when I heard about Pat wanting to, I don't know if it was a cease and desist or uh defamation or whatever it was. And I'm like, come on now. Now I do feel like these men having beef with Clarissa have an issue. And I think that that is the time that Pat Poos should step up and did all of that as a man. Clarissa shouldn't be fighting with men, no matter
Why Men Shouldn’t Target Clarissa
SPEAKER_01what her profession is. She's still a woman. She still has woman feelings. And I don't agree with these men going at her. I even noticed that some of the the women, most of their commentary is a is is about a downfall of a person. And I'm just wondering, you know, why what what is the the personal interest in it as as far as some people go. Now, I do feel like Remy has the right to diss Clarissa anytime she gets ready. And she has that right to diss Papoose too, because I distinctly remember her saying, if Clarissa keeps speaking on her, that she's gonna drag him every time. And Clarissa keeps speaking on this woman. I you know, I don't know. But I think that Clarissa was wrong because she tried to befriend Remy first. And I think that Pat should not, I I don't even know how I even he shouldn't call himself trying to trying to cheat because you could have left. So if you didn't leave, what was the reason for you not leaving if things were that unhappy
Divorce Claims And Song Split Reality
SPEAKER_01between you? So apparently in the divorce, Pat wants money. And in that moment, I honestly thought about Todd and Candy, and I was like, same but different because they had businesses, they were trying to grow something together. But you know, some of these men, they get it, they think they're bigger than the program. But I honestly think that he shouldn't get anything monetarily. I I just really don't because I feel that many artists that have made some real money invested in other businesses, such as Meg got in on the Popeye on the Popeyes franchise, Rick Ross on Wing Stock,
Franchise Investing For Artists
SPEAKER_01Tiny started with a like a nail salon after Escape, and T.I. had multiple businesses, and the list the list goes on. And I do think that a franchise is the way to go, such as a McDonald's, a FedEx, a Dollar General, or something like that. And Papoose could have gone this route, no matter if he did write anything or not. Anybody in the music industry know if your name is not on the split, what are you talking about? And it's not too late for to get a franchise in. I feel like that if Remy had money put up while she was in prison and he was going back and forth to the prison, I feel like that some of that money should have been invested where you could have started a business. And I like I said, I believe in the franchise route because the name is already there. The the publicity is already there, it's just a new location opening up. And a lot of times, if it's a popular franchise, you don't even have to do too much promotion. So I think before he tries to sue and won't, I don't even know if he won't spouse or support, but any of those types of things, then money should have been invested wisely. Even if he decided that he's gonna be with Clarissa, I I think Clarissa just should stop speaking on Remy. I think that at this point there won't be any more Ram and Pap. I mean, just being honest. I I don't see that. And it's like Clarissa, you got him and all of what comes with him. So if you have to feel like you have to keep speaking and she has to keep dissing, and and whatever, if you want to go in the booth or whatever, whatever it is, you know, at some point I feel like, and I don't know the situation with him, I don't know. Just based on what's been reported. I feel like if you don't work, you don't eat, and you don't need to be asking for lunch money if you don't have a job, you know. So I hope he's making money with her, but y'all need to invest in other things. Don't be waiting for people to invest in
Final Word And Next Week
SPEAKER_01you. Okay, and that's all that I have for this week. And I'll talk to you next week. Bye.
